We meet each month at the Administration Building by Hazelwood Central High School on Halls Ferry between Lindberg and Shackelford. 9:30 to 11:30 A.M.

Some of the hearts we made when Kathleen Killian came to read her book were exhibited at the Science Center last month (Feb.)

At the March meeting we made kites, and some of us, (me) got to show how to fly them. I never got my kite up higher than 10 feet at most. One of the ladies got her kite all of 200 feet high, all the line she had. I was impressed, especially after bragging how good I was at flying kites!!

We were given some nice handouts, for St. Patricks day.... A rainbow to color, a maze and a baseball game played with dice. My students enjoyed coloring the rainbow and had fun with the maze.

Oasis Christmas Party

	Just the girls this time
The Carolers started out singing together and then after a few songs they split up in an all boy group and an all girl group. All the singers had great voices, (future American Idols?)

I made sure Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause knew who I was.	Santa handed out candy canes to all the good boys and girls. (We all got one!)

Our Favorite School in Florissant!

Lois and I help out at Lawson Elementary in Florissant, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Tuesdays I help 2 boys from the first grade. Lois helps out with the morning kindergarten class. On Wednesday we both help out in kindergarten, morning and afternoon. We work with the teacher helping all the kids with their reading, writing and projects. Here are some pictures of our kindergarten class from November 2005, they are all a great bunch of kids!
