| I found some black walnuts at St. Ferdinands
Park in Florissant and laid them out on the leaves to dry out. The squirrels don't bother them at all in the park, so I figured they would be alright. The next day when I came out to look at them this is what I found. Eight neat little piles of cracked shells!

| Guess I was wrong about squirrels not liking black walnuts. They must of thought I was giving them a treat! I have a few more, guess I'll dry them indoors this time. |
