program built into their cd's. |
To find out if Sony's invasive DRM software is in your cd go
to start, run then type
cmd /k sc query $sys$aries If the response is STATE: 4
RUNNING you have the software..... Most spyware programs
will remove it. |

I like Grisoft's AVG antivirus. A small program that runs
well.

| Window 98 tip to restore computer... |
If your win98 operating system is not running right sometimes you
can restore the system back to an earlier date by doing this.
Choose Run from the Start menu then type... scanreg/restore
You can restore your computer to a few earlier dates when it was running
good. |
| For SBC DSL Yahoo users |
Instead of using the annoying download manager that comes with the
software, you can open up IE Explorer directly by doing this...
Go to control panel and upen up internet options. Open up
connctions and a connection wizard will appear. Just type in the
info asked for and it should work. SBC Yahoo's download manager screwed
up my computer too many times for me to trust it anymore.
